Hello! My name is Janelle Bennett and I have been the 6th grade teacher here at WWA since 2008. I grew up here in Westminster and attended Mandalay Middle School and Standley Lake High School. I then went on to higher education at the University of Northern Colorado and finally received my Master’s Degree in Education at Regis University in 2012. I love to coach volleyball and have coached since I was 19 years old. I coach for WWA (boys and girls) and a club called Ballistic Volleyball Club. My husband and I have two adorable dogs and a wonderful daughter who is just as obsessed with Disney as I am! I really enjoy cooking, watching movies, playing volleyball, and spending lots of time with my family! I am stoked for another year here at Woodrow Wilson Academy!

My name is Amy Kessel and I am honored to be the 6th grade math and science teacher here at Woodrow Wilson Academy. I have been around the WWA halls for many years. First as a parent to past and present Wildcats, then a substitute teacher, a 5th grade E.A., and finally, I have found my home on the Intermediate Team. I wholeheartedly believe in the philosophy and vision of WWA and am thrilled to be a part of this school.
I grew up in the Boston area and attended the University of Colorado where I earned my B.S. in Biology. After graduation, I had an opportunity to be a T.A. in undergrad classes and it was then that I discovered my love of teaching. Returning to university, I earned my Secondary Teaching License in Mathematics and Science.
I am happily married to Jeremy and mom to four Wildcats/Gators (Jack 11th grade, Parker and Logan 9th grade, and Margot 5th grade). When I am not teaching, you will find me trail running, cross fitting, and spending time with my family. I am excited to meet your student and am looking forward to a fantastic year at WWA.
