Hello! My name is Janelle Bennett and I have been the 6th grade teacher here at WWA since 2008. I grew up here in Westminster and attended Mandalay Middle School and Standley Lake High School. I then went on to higher education at the University of Northern Colorado and finally received my Master’s Degree in Education at Regis University in 2012. I love to coach volleyball and have coached since I was 19 years old. I coach for WWA (boys and girls) and a club called Ballistic Volleyball Club. My husband and I have two adorable dogs and a wonderful daughter who is just as obsessed with Disney as I am! I really enjoy cooking, watching movies, playing volleyball, and spending lots of time with my family! I am stoked for another year here at Woodrow Wilson Academy!
My name is Erin Schettone and I cannot wait to meet your 4th grade student! I feel extremely blessed to be joining the Woodrow Wilson Community this year. I have been teaching for 8 years and am excited to be back in my favorite grade. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania, and moved to Colorado shortly after.
I love spending time outdoors hiking in Colorado, although I do prefer to be running along the beach instead when I’m in Florida for the summer. No matter where I am, I enjoy cooking and baking. I love making mistakes, perfecting recipes, and filling friends and families tummies. 🙂
I’m looking forward to a fantastic year!
