Welcome to Tech! My name is Heather Mahan and I started teaching elementary technology at WWA in 2015 and love it here. My background includes advertising/web design where I worked for 9+ years as a Senior Web Designer then Art Director in the .com industry. I have a BFA in communications from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia where I grew up and have lived in Colorado for 20+ years. As a mom of three girls. I have learned many fun and creative ways to engage children to want to learn more and make it a fun process.

I also enjoy doing anything that involves being outdoors with my family (camping, running, hiking, skiing, gardening…), reading more than one book at a time and hanging out with my three girls.
