Keeping Our School Community Healthy: Sick Kid Policy

At Woodrow Wilson Academy, the health and safety of our students and staff is a top priority. To help prevent the spread of illness and keep our school community healthy, we kindly ask families to follow our Sick Kid Policy.

If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them home from school. Students should remain home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, a persistent cough, sore throat, or any other symptoms of illness. Children may return to school once they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without medication and are well enough to participate fully in classroom activities.

Keeping sick children at home not only helps them recover more quickly, but also protects classmates, teachers, and staff. We understand that these decisions can sometimes be difficult, and we truly appreciate your partnership in prioritizing the health of our community.

Thank you for helping us create a safe, caring, and healthy learning environment for everyone at WWA.
