Welcome Back, Wildcats!

We hope you had a wonderful summer filled with fun, family, and unforgettable memories. We are so excited to have you back at Woodrow Wilson Academy and can’t wait to see our school filled with smiling faces, laughter, learning, friendship, and plenty of Wildcat spirit!

Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning for another year, we are looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with new adventures, exciting learning, and special memories. Welcome back, Wildcats — we’ve missed you!

Welcome Pre-K Families! 🐾

We are so excited to welcome all of our youngest Wildcats and their families to Pre-K this year! We have so many wonderful activities and experiences planned, and we can’t wait to begin this exciting journey together.

Back to School Night – Open House Style

First, we’d love to invite everyone to our Back to School Night Open House on August 18 from 4:30–6:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit the classroom, meet the teachers, find your student’s cubby, drop off school supplies, and turn in any remaining enrollment forms.

Since many of our Pre-K students are siblings of older WWA students, we will be available throughout the evening. Stop by before your older children’s Back-to-School Night sessions or between sessions—whichever works best for your family. We can’t wait to see you!

Dinner Before Back to School Night 🍽️

PTO has partnered with GQue BBQ to offer dinner at WWA before the Back to School Night events. Dinner will be available from 4:00–5:30 PM on August 18 behind Woodrow at the small pavilion and Field of Dreams.

Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy a picnic on the field with our WWA community! Pre-purchase only. The last day to order was August 11.

Welcome K–6th Grade Families! 📚

Here is the Back to School Night schedule for our K–6th grade families:

5:40–6:00 PM — Parents, students, and supplies head to the oldest student’s classroom.

6:00–6:05 PM — Students are picked up by staff members.

6:05–6:35 PM — Teacher Session 1 with Welcome Video presentation.

6:40–7:00 PM — Teacher Session 2 / Social / Booths in the lunchroom.

7:05–7:25 PM — Teacher Session 3 / Social / Booths in the lunchroom.

P.S. This will follow the same format as last year. There will not be a whole-school presentation in the gym.

We are so excited to welcome everyone back and start another wonderful year together.
