Welcome to Fall with the Woodrow PTO!
As autumn arrives, the Woodrow Wilson Academy PTO has scheduled a full season of fun events, delicious treats, and community fundraisers. Mark your calendars and join in on all the exciting happenings taking place through December!
September
September 25 – Popsicles after School: Celebrated a successful Field Day with $1 popsicles after school, with 50% of proceeds going back to WWA PTO.
October
October 1 – Fall Fundraiser Kickoff: The food-themed "Yum Run" fundraiser kicks off during the school day.
October 8–9 – Parent-Teacher Conferences: Show support for WWA teachers with a catered dinner on Thursday night and breakfast on Friday morning.
October 20 – PTO Meeting: Join us in the Woodrow Library to hear school updates and share your ideas. On-site childcare is provided for kids ages 3 and up.
October 23 – Fall Fundraiser Fun Run & Cookie Dough Treat: The "Yum Run" takes place during the school day (volunteers needed!). After school, treat yourself to "Dough My Gosh" edible cookie dough for $4 per cup. Payment can be made ahead via QR code or with cash/card on the day of.
November
November 5 – Dine to Donate at Raising Cane's (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM): Grab dinner at the new Raising Cane's location on 88th Ave. Raising Cane's will donate 15% of sales back to WWA PTO.
November 17 – PTO Meeting: Gather in the Woodrow Library for monthly updates and discussion. Childcare is available for ages 3+.
November 20 – Movie Night at Woodrow: Kick off Thanksgiving break with a cozy evening relaxing with friends and family at school. Movie selection to be announced!
December
December 15 – Dine to Donate at MOD Pizza: Enjoy pizza all day long as a tasty way to close out the semester. MOD Pizza will give 25% back to WWA PTO.
