Hello! My name is Janelle Bennett and I have been the 6th grade teacher here at WWA since 2008. I grew up here in Westminster and attended Mandalay Middle School and Standley Lake High School. I then went on to higher education at the University of Northern Colorado and finally received my Master’s Degree in Education at Regis University in 2012. I love to coach volleyball and have coached since I was 19 years old. I coach for WWA (boys and girls) and a club called Ballistic Volleyball Club. My husband and I have two adorable dogs and a wonderful daughter who is just as obsessed with Disney as I am! I really enjoy cooking, watching movies, playing volleyball, and spending lots of time with my family! I am stoked for another year here at Woodrow Wilson Academy!
Hi! My name is Liz Larson. I grew up in Manhattan, Kansas and did my undergrad at Kansas State University. I moved out here over 15 years ago but I am still a die-hard Kansas State and Kansas City Chiefs fan (sorry, not sorry Bronco fans and hubby). I received my masters in Elementary Education at University of Phoenix and started teaching first grade at WWA in 2011. I took time off in 2016 to stay home and raise a family but now I’m back and am so excited to teach your kids in fourth grade. I have two amazing kids who also attend Woodrow. My family and I love to be active and outside any chance we get. We spend lots of time riding bikes, hiking, camping and watching football.
