Join us for a Picnic In The Park!

There is nothing quite like watching our school community gather under the afternoon sun as the new school year gets into full swing! Pack up the kids, grab a blanket, and come make some wonderful memories with us at our annual Picnic in The Park. Mark your calendars for Friday, September 18, from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM at Oakhurst Park (9311 Lark Bunting Dr).

This special afternoon is all about celebrating us—our wonderful families, our dedicated staff, and the vibrant community that makes Woodrow Wilson Academy feel like home. Whether you are brand new to the school or a longtime WWA family, this is your chance to kick back, catch up with old friends, and build warm connections with new ones.

Easy Friday Dinner That Gives Back

Let us take dinner prep off your to-do list! We will be serving up delicious slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza for just $1, classic hot dogs for $2, and refreshing drinks ($1) and chips ($0.50). You can preorder online through Cheddar Up or grab your food at the park using cash or card.

Best of all, enjoying a meal together directly supports our school. A portion of all food sales goes right back to WWA, and our sweet friends at Kona Ice are donating 20% of every treat purchased back to our students!

Pack a Bag & Stay Awhile

Think of this afternoon as one big, joyful community block party. Toss your favorite camping chairs, cozy blankets, soccer balls, frisbees, and lawn games into the car and make yourself at home on the grass. While the kids play, you can:

• Stop by the Spirit Gear shop to pick up orders or buy fresh WWA gear.

• Explore BOD, PTO and club booths and chat with our lovely staff members.

• Treat the family to a cool Kona Ice!
