Looking for a rewarding, school-hours job that matches your family’s schedule? Woodrow Wilson Academy is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our kitchen team!

Job Details:

• Pay: $20.25 / hour (Position hired through Denver Public Schools; no benefits)

• Hours: ~20 hours/week | Monday–Friday (approx. 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

• Schedule: Perfect family schedule—evenings, weekends, school breaks, and summers off!

  
  

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare, heat, and serve meals following safety and recipe standards.

• Set up serving lines, warmly interact with students and staff, and operate the cash register.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and dining facilities.

• Stock and organize food items using proper food-handling practices.

  
  

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma/GED preferred; institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

• Ability to pass a DPS background check/fingerprinting and complete orientation prior to placement.

• Physical capability to fulfill kitchen duties (with or without reasonable accommodation).

• Permanent Colorado residential address.
